No, American World War 2 veterans weren't Antifa.

Can we please stop comparing Antifa to World War 2 veterans?

Recently, President Trump designated the left-wing group Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization.

Are they a domestic terrorist organization? I’d say yes. When I constantly see them at the forefront of every violent protest and riot where businesses get smashed up and looted, and their members and supporters are routinely on social media calling for violence and making threats, it’s pretty hard to argue that they aren’t.

Before you go “B-BUT WUT ABOUT MAGA?!”, I don’t think MAGA is a domestic terrorist organization. MAGA is a cult for the idiots still gullible enough to think that Donald Trump actually gives a fuck about them. MAGA is responsible for one significant riot, the January 6th fiasco in DC. Meanwhile, Antifa is on the scene at every race-related urban protest-turned-riot. Every single time. Without fucking fail. Both are dangerous (and dangerously stupid), but only one is consistently tearing apart cities and looting businesses.

Anyway, now I’m seeing a lot of people posting pictures of their relatives from World War 2 and declaring that their relatives were also Antifa because they fought the Nazis. There’s this stupid and asinine movement to equate the soldiers who fought in WWII to modern-day Antifa purely on the grounds that they fought against a fascist country.

It’s one thing to call Trump a fascist. Do I think he’s a fascist? Four years ago I’d have laughed and said you’re being melodramatic. But now, I’m not so sure. The guy is deploying troops to police American cities, I can’t defend that shit. I live in Philly, every time I step outside my door it’s basically a 50/50 chance I’ll get shot. We don’t need martial law, we need a properly trained and funded police force and a district attorney who actually prosecutes criminals. Larry Krasner is the world’s biggest piece of shit, I hope he falls victim to the same animals he routinely lets go. Sending the military into my city isn’t going to fix shit, it’s just a pointless power move. And it’s definitely the kind of shit a fascist dictator might do. I don’t know if I’m ready to call Trump a fascist dictator just yet, but he’s not helping his image at all.

But since the far-left views Trump as a fascist dictator, they view themselves as fighting against fascism. They adopted the name “Antifa”, short for the original German communist organization “Antifaschistische Aktion” (I can’t blame them for shortening it, that was a bitch to write on my phone), and are running around larping as some kind of guerilla resistance against the establishment.

If you guys want to pretend to be Che Guevara or whatever then fine. But don’t start comparing yourselves to actual heroes who fought and died during one of the deadliest conflicts in world history. You’re a fucking college student wearing a shystie and screaming political opinions at police, not an infantryman storming Omaha Beach on D-Day while getting hammered by machine gun fire and rockets. Comparing yourselves to war heroes is straight-up disrespectful and spits on the legacy of millions of Americans who put their lives on the line so you could larp as a revolutionary and preach against the evils of capitalism from your new iPhone while you sip down a latte at Starbucks.

Unless your great-grandfather or great-uncle was a German communist (and for most of you reading this I’m about 99% certain he wasn’t), he wasn’t Antifa. Modern Antifa is actually a mix of communists and anarchists, hence the black flag next to the red flag in the current logo. There’s no way your relative was a communist or anarchist in 1930’s/1940’s America. In fact, your relative would have probably beat the ever-loving shit out of the limp-wristed toolbags that are calling themselves communists and anarchists today.

Stop disrespecting the memories of your relatives by pushing this nonsense take. Your relative wasn’t Antifa just because he fought against the Nazis in WWII, and comparing him to literal communists and anarchists makes you look like damn retards.

Not that supporting communism and anarchy wasn’t already retarded to begin with.

Also, I’m pretty sure George Soros is the one funding this Antifa bullshit, so maybe Big Don can abuse a little bit of power in that direction and have Soros arrested. ~~Or executed~~.
