Yes, cancel culture is still wrong, even when the right is doing it

So now the right is embracing cancel culture too?

Because the entire political spectrum is made up of hypocrites, the right has now begun a witch hunt, taking to doxxing people on the left for celebrating Charlie Kirk’s killing. Thousands of people have been fired from their jobs after their employers were notified about their social media posts. The same people who pitched a fit about cancel culture 10 years ago are now shamelessly engaging in it themselves.

I won’t pretend that there isn’t some poetic justice in the left getting a taste of their own medicine, but I don’t support cancel culture no matter what side is doing it. After spending years complaining about how fucked up it is to harass someone and take their livelihood away over internet posts, the right is turning around and engaging in the exact same practice. Did you guys learn nothing from being the victims? No, of course not, because political partisans are foaming at the mouth retards who are incapable of thinking beyond party lines and don’t know how to act like civilized human beings.

Is it right to celebrate Charlie Kirk’s murder? No. As I said previously, I didn’t like the guy, but I don’t think he deserved to be shot for his opinions. Regardless of his stance on gay rights and trans people, celebrating him getting shot in the throat is disgusting, and the people on the left doing it are deranged.

But it’s not like pundits on the right haven’t done the same exact shit. Now that it’s one of their people they’re suddenly clutching their pearls and taking umbrage at it? Yeah, no, fuck you guys. What happened was wrong, but conservatives have no room to complain about the left being insensitive and cheering Kirk’s death. I’ve seen the stuff you guys post to Twitter, you’re no fucking saints. And now you’re crying for liberal blood? Never let a good tragedy go to waste, I guess. Charlie Kirk’s death has exposed the right as being just as fanatical and crazy as the left.

You’d think this would be the perfect time for both sides to stop and say “Hey, you know what, this has gone too far. Let’s take a step back and have some serious heartfelt dialogue.” But nope, you morons are hellbent on provoking a larger conflict. You know who wins a civil war in this country? Fucking nobody. You’re going to destroy everything we have, you stupid cunts. I’ve been trying my hardest to sit this left-right war out, since I identify with neither side, but it’s become apparent that neither side wants to respect the concepts that this country was founded on, like freedom of speech or basic humanity. The left says I’m a racist and a fascist because I don’t support letting in billions of immigrants from third world shitholes, and the right says I’m a stupid libtard who hates freedom because I think Israel is out of control and I don’t suck Donald Trump’s dick. Fuck you both. If I’m going to be dragged into this bullshit, then both sides are getting it.

This witch hunt has to stop. The political extremism has to stop. Things have gone too far. We shouldn’t have to live in fear of being killed, arrested, or losing our livelihoods because we pissed off some over-political pussies who can’t cope with the fact that someone might have a different opinion than them. We shouldn’t have the Attorney General threatening to prosecute people for cheering Kirk’s death online (she later walked this statement back, after even her own party called her out for it; Nice try bitch you’re not fooling anyone), we shouldn’t have the Vice President openly encouraging doxxing people, and we sure as hell shouldn’t have lunatics shooting people in the throat for their opinions. Things have been bad enough in America for the last 20 years, now I’ve got to worry about rabid political retards on both sides coming for me if I express the “wrong” opinion?

Cancel culture is bullshit, and I’ll always be against it no matter which side is doing it. All of you dickheads on the right who are getting people fired for making fun of Charlie Kirk are a bunch of hypocritical retards, and I don’t want to hear shit from any of you the next time the left starts canceling people.
